After the declaration of independence of the Ottoman Empire, it is known that the period regarding its connections and relations with other principalities were described as 'tevâifü'l-mülûk'. During this period, the leader of the Ottoman dynasty was considered as 'first among equals' in relation to other dynasties. Historical accounts indicate that the establishment of the Janissary Corps led to the direct organization of autonomous pricipality lands around the Ottoman Empire as flags, effectively cutting off their ties to the center. Despite the influence of Bektaşi and Mevleviyye orders, the names of statesmen such as Mevlâna Köse Rüstem, Çandarlı Halil Pasha, and Lala Şahin Pasha are mentioned in chronicles. Attention will be drawn to the newly emerging Naqshbandiyya Order of Bukhara origin and its connections to the intellectual and mystical world of the Great Selçuk Empire during this period. Furthermore, the reason why the Janissaries could adopt Haci Bektas Veli as their 'pir' can be traced back to the Zile-based Bayezidiyya Dergâh through Dai Vakfiyyas, while the roles of the Bektashi-Rifai and Bedevi orders in the Devlet-i Aliyye will be presented in a tabulated form.
